I Heart Faces-Week 15

"Celebrating Teens"

This is Miss G. She is fabulous! I love her style, I love her personality, I love her inner beauty. It also helps that she is gorgeous. :). She was everything you could want in a model: respectful and polite but as I asked her to be she could be funny, dramatic, serious, adorable, thoughtful, natural and always herself. Everyone should have a Miss G to photograph!

Iheatfaces-hilarious outtakes

Z baby, give my one of your sweet smiles!
I still don't know what my sister was doing here. I was just taking shots of a family reunion, you know, people chatting with those they love, and didn't even know I got this until I got home.
My kids waiting for me to get my adjustements correct.
Look mama, red drawers!
Allllllllllll done with photos.

I heartfaces-handson

My Granny's hands. This is the quintessential Granny pic, down to the holiday sweatshirt in the background. For as long as I can remember, she has always worn lots of jewelry, most of it made by my grandfather. I'd know these hands among 1000. Click the button above the pic for more!

Iheartfaces-I wanna dance

Homeschoolers dancing in the street. This is our neighborhood! They didn't know I was watching. The front couple is brother and sister, the back, sisters. Precious.

It's not a great picture but I promised myself that I'd enter something for every week I actually had something.

iheartfaces-texture

This week's challenge is texture. I took this picture back in July and I added a texture from Shadowhouse Creations.

I love people who are comfortable in front of a camera and my friend M is. I was so excited to take pictures of her and her precious baby girl. This baby is the perfect example of , "A surprise is something you didn't know how much you needed 'till you got it".

Iheartfaces-We Are Family

This week's challenge is We Are Family. This is my brother in law and his boys. He was just about to baptize his oldest boy. I know I should have been praying with them, but I saw this and my heart melted. I've had my beefs with him in the past, but I've never questioned his devotion to his children and my sister. I'm glad he's their daddy and her husband.

It was June in Texas with not a tree in sight and I'm an amateur in every sense of the word, you get what you get :P. It's still my sister's favorite of her boys.

Ihearfaces-Faces!

This week's Iheartfaces challenge is faces. Not just any faces, but one taken between December 1, 2009 and January 12 2009. This is one of my favorite faces in the world.

This is my Uncle Vern. Because of him and his wife, I had a sense that I was actually worthy of love. I had safety, I had fun, I had joy, I had rest, and I learned of faith when I was with them. He's pretty sick now, just had a defibrillator and a pace maker put in and has diabetes, but you can't tell it from this picture. He is doing what he does best, loving a little girl (in this case my absolutely precious niece!!). Grateful is too small a word for what he and my Aunt Sandy poured into me.
